My Journey with Anshul Sinha: A Tale of Passion and Persistence

When I arrived in Hyderabad last year, I had no idea what awaited me. Just two days after settling in, I got in touch with Anshul Sinha. Anshul, known for his series of micro films, was looking for an actor to play a negative character in his upcoming project. As a Hindi-speaking actor, I knew I had an edge. I quickly sent him a self-tape, and to my delight, I got the opportunity to work with him.

A Memorable Shoot

The shoot on January 26th, 2023, was a fantastic experience. Anshul's calm and composed demeanor on set was truly admirable. He never panicked, even when things didn't go as planned. Instead, he managed the chaos with ease, bringing out the best in every actor. It was clear that he knew how to harness an actor's strengths for each scene.

Continued Collaborations

Anshul was impressed with my work and invited me to participate in three more of his micro films. Working with him was a pleasure, and I appreciated his ability to stay grounded and focused. One month later, he organized a premiere for all his micro movies. The chief guest, a Telugu director who had worked with the Oscar-winning music director M.M. Keeravani, praised my performance and promised me a significant role in his upcoming movie. Although that role is still pending, I am grateful for the recognition.

Stepping into Feature Films

Anshul soon embarked on a feature film project and called me for an important role. Despite being in my village at the time, I sent him a self-tape. After several rounds of auditions, he finalized me for one of the key characters. The script was gripping, and as I read through it, I felt an adrenaline rush. Anshul's two years of hard work on the script were evident.

The Dubbing Experience

Four months of meticulous editing later, Anshul called me for dubbing. Once again, I was in my village but managed to get my first Telugu project. The day I reached Hyderabad, I dubbed my part. Next year, "Million Views," a thrilling movie inspired by Rigveda, is set to release.

A Director and a Friend

Anshul is not only a hardworking director who sees his projects through to completion but also a kind-hearted individual who supports others. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with him and am excited to share more about my first Telugu project in my next blog.
